Wavelets Analysis for Time-tracking Eddies in Regional modelS

You can download the most recent version of the toolkit from:
http://www.mio.univ-amu.fr/~doglioli/WATERS/
The file WATERStools_0.0_beta.tar.gz contains the matlab scripts and the other free software packages you need:
Wavelab library, Roms_tools, m_map and M_PACK
You can test the scripts directly analyzing one of our Agulhas
simulation [Doglioli et al. J.Geophys.Res. 2007] outputs contained in the file water_data_example.tar.gz
First you have to modify the parameters in parameters3d.m (in particular files paths), then lunch tracking3d_ini.m in matlab.
The script produces a figure with all the eddies detected in the
domain; with the mouse you can select one of them.
After your clicking in the eddy center, the time-tracking starts (I hope!).
This is a really first version with, I'm sure, a lot
of bugs! Please, feel free to write me about any problems you meet with,
or for suggestions of improvement.
